I had an excellent experience in this restaurant. I went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and it was perfect. Excellent customer service. The restaurant was very clean and organized. The bathrooms were also in perfect condition and the waiters are all professionals in customer service, especially my Waitress Gabby was a professional, I give her in my rearing 💯 points for good service and customer service, fully recommended the Greek on the main restaurant in Metuchen New Jersey 😎🥰❤️

The waiter was super nice and personable. When we asked for suggestions for food, with this guy it felt like a really close friend or family member giving us suggestions . His suggestion for the pork chop was on point! That pork chop was super thick but they somehow managed to keep it moist! Also definitely the grilled calamari and the fried cheese, they are excellent appetizers!

We come here for quick bites, date nights and family reunion. Good food, (extremely) reasonable price and super friendly service. Make sure you come here regularly for their specials. Chef Teddy Kappas is very creative and will rotate the menu every month or so based on the fresh ingredients they get. I had my wedding reception here. With a relatively short notice, Chef Kappas was able to reserve the place for us and presented such a fabulous buffet (with soft drinks, appetizers, salad, entrees and dessert) for 52 adults plus 2 kids and 4 1-year-old babies. All the waiters and waitresses were so delightful, nice and quick! They literally took good care of my every single guest. Everybody had such a good time - I know this for sure because some of my guests who also went to other (dinner) parties on the same day texted me just to tell me that our food was the BEST. As newly wedded couples who had 0 experience of hosting any big parties, we really appreciate what chef Kappas did for us and our family. A big surprise came towards the end: my husband’s dad was Greek who passed away when my husband was 2 years old. To let us experience some Greek tradition and culture and have a “taste” of Greek wedding, chef Kappas hand-made "koufeta" as dessert for our guests. I was truly touched. The Greek on Main is much much much more than just a Greek restaurant. If you happen to be in our neighborhood, do not miss the chance to enjoy a meal with love and care at this lovely Greek restaurant.

In New Jersey for a special occasion, we met with my sister in Metuchen for dinner and afterwards felt like dessert and coffee so decided to visit The Greek on Main. Decorated outside and inside we were quickly shown to a table and served by a very nice server Gabby who gave us recommendations and was very attentive. We had 2 decaf, 1 Greek tea and for dessert a galaktaboureko like a sponge cake but not too sweet and of course bread pudding. Nice to sit down and catch up. Lucky for us the restaurant was not too crowded so service was awesome. Definite recommend.

Fabulous dining experience at The Greek on Main! Recommended by our son! Appetizers were amazing! Fig & Goat Cheese Flatbread Haloumi Fries- Feta and roasted red pepper aioli. So good! Tomato salad! Enjoyed two entrée specials!- Shrimp and Pork- Delicious! The prawns and lamb shank were well prepared! Dessert and tea! Perfectly ended the night! Our Server Lovely was truly lovely!! Attentive and friendly! She knew the menu well and answered all our questions! Thank you lovely! Bring your own alcohol! Make reservations! Metered street parking until 6p and free parking on Sundays!
